ND Western made a remarkable debut at the 20th edition of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games (NOGIG), an event that brings together professionals from across the sector to celebrate teamwork, skill, and healthy competition. Competing across a diverse range of sports including athletics, swimming, chess, 8-ball pool, lawn tennis, scrabble and football. In our inaugural outing, the team secured a commendable 10th place finish out of 15 companies, demonstrating incredible spirit and determination from the march past to the final track races.
The dedication shown across all events was further reflected in the individual achievements of team members like Bowo Egbeyemi, who earned gold in both the men’s 100m & 200m, as well as Ferami Kehinde and Chukwuebuka Anyanwu, who secured silver medals in lawn tennis and the men’s 200m respectively. Ultimately, the experience provided a vital platform for networking and collaboration within the sector, reinforcing ND Western’s commitment to excellence and relationship-building throughout Nigeria’s energy industry.
