International Women’s Day was marked across ND Western’s Lagos and Warri offices, recognising the women in ND Western who drive the organisation’s success through their expertise, dedication and leadership. This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” reflects the professionalism, insight and meaningful contributions these women bring to every aspect of the business.
In Lagos, ND Western women visited Ireti Senior Grammar School, engaging senior boys and girls in conversations about choosing a career, being bold, and the importance of generosity. As part of the initiative, the company also sponsored JAMB and NECO forms for the students. Following this outreach, the students visited ND Western’s offices to see the workplace in action, gaining a closer understanding of professional environments and the opportunities available to them.

In Warri, the outreach focused on supporting 10 widows in the community with start-up resources for small businesses, providing tools, guidance, and confidence to pursue self-reliance and meaningful opportunities. According to Bola Asemota, NDW Women’s Network President, “our gifts have given these women more than business tools; they have given them confidence, a path to self‑reliance, and a belief that their lives can improve. This transformation is a powerful demonstration of this year’s IWD theme, “Give to Gain.” We gave support, and in return we gained stronger community ties, shared humanity, and the joy of contributing to a meaningful change.”
